This post is going to send you off to a Microsoft site that outlines some of the new things coming to the upcoming release of Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition Online.  But first a few comments.

One item we are excited about is the updated user-interface.  The new interface is better organized, cleaner, and easier to use.

Our technical team wrote a blog article about an add-on that would enable an advanced find to pull a list of prospects that did not have an opportunity.  With the next update, the native advanced find will have the Does Not Contain Data operator.  Choose the record type you’re looking for (Accounts) and then query for the related record (Opportunity) that’s not there.  The query will return all the Accounts without an Opportunity.

Look forward to a new email form with rich editing capability.  New enhancements to the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook.  New enhancements to the Phone apps.  Multi-select option sets.

Check out the What’s coming for Customer Engagement, Enterprise edition, in the next update for Dynamics 365 Online to see all the good stuff coming.

[ Note, Customer Engagement was called “Plan 1” when Dynamics 365 was introduced last year.  The plan includes the Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and Project Service Automation Apps. ]
